Hi, I own a nopCommerce site and I've done upgrades to it and several others. Upgrading the database requires to run each upgrade sql script in steps: from 3.7 to 3.8, then to 3.9, etc (5 scripts). The best way is to have access via SSMS (Sql Server Management Studio) and load one script at a time and run it. It might require small edits in these scripts if there are any custom changes to the database. (columns or tables removed or modified). My approach will be the following: 1. Backup database and restore it somewhere else. It could be on any server. This will be our test database. 2. Edit all the upgrade scripts so that they run smoothly. 3.
