Data analysis to be done in FULL on core banking system (Oracle database) and several other systems integrated with core banking system. Other systems are either Oracle based or MS-SQL based.
Other systems include, but not limited to, credit card system, loan system, checkbook transactions system, fund transfer system, the online banking system.
The objective of the analysis is to build a Master Data Management schema (MDM) that accurately identify the bank’s financial entities from across the systems. Example of entities to be modeled: Customer profile, Transaction, Audit trail, financial metrics, reconciliation.
Entities to be exposed as data models (data marts) that will be populated as data in a data warehouse (on Amazon RedShift)
The target resource should interact, investigate, defend, and simulate the results of modeling effort he/she is doing using the existing financial schema (core banking system and others).

2) How big are the entity involved. Is data available across multiple databases?
3) Any help with documentation be made available around existing database architecture? Or we need to review and come up with existing architecture and then work on MDM.
4) How we are planning access setup.
Have worked on multiple data lineage projects to identify data flow within applications. This analysis will form base for MDM analysis of the Data set.
Biggest question/concern I have here, are you okay to share your financial schema/data to freelancer, and if yes how is going to happen, I mean through team viewer or webex.
I have provided on-job support to one of my client , and he generally used to explain his needs and accordingly I was helping him in writing sql to do data analysis and prepare the presentation layer/database view.
I have worked on financial domain earlier specific to credit card. Most of my work is in data warehousing and spent more than 10 years in data analysis. once you can provide me more details on number of source systems that are in scope and type of the system and time is needed to provide accessc on it then I can provide you exact time to complete the task. we will need data dictionary or source SME to answer specific questions. in summary gaining access on the source system and finding documents on source system or finding right sme of source system takes more time in data analysis , rest are less time taking activities.

1. What do you mean by MDM schema? Is this simly joinin the information from different source on the same entity and doing certain reconciliations? What is the desired output of this project - a new database or a simple query that would join data?
2. I am working as a business analyst for a well know financial service company and have been working on a similar MDM project that was aimed to collect data from different sources, validate and share. We have been using informatica tool to join different database types and perfom transformations and validations.
3. Understanding data model and desired outcome should take most of the time.
