I specialize in hand translating COBOL into a data compatible Winforms .NET application, although I can create services out of the translated modules and create an ASP. NET application if desired. I typically use a middleware product called CONNX for COBOL ISAM compatibilty, and then later move all data and support to SQL Server. I have a client in the US who is a Auto Loan bank, and I moved their 30 year old loan servicing application to a winforms .net application, and was able to put modules into use when other modules were not yet complete because I initially kept functional and data compatibility with the COBOL app, When the .net application was fully functional and tested I converted it to a SQL server 2008 R2 back end, and replaced most of the legacy algorithms with superior stored proc based algorithms.

This is a Per day rate, I do not know what the actual work is, so cannot say anymore, Is there any accomodatiom, what about flights.

Good Morning, Following, my experiences: I have a B.S. in Computer Science and I am certified as a Project Manager by PMI. I also have 8 years of experience in Mainframe's System Development, BATCH and Online, in the banking areas of Credit Card and Personal Loans using COBOL, PL1, Natural, CICS, DB2, Adabas, IMS, JCL and TSO, including 2 years of experience in Project Management as a Project Analyst. As a System Analyst, I have worked for two important banks in Brazil developing systems for Credit Card and Personal Loan areas. I was responsible for the system development life cycle, starting on specification with the Business Analysts through the testing and implementation. Some of my experiences as System Analyst are: the migration of massive data from another data bases due to a fusion between two banks, where I had to prepare the system’s data bases to receive the new data; the credit card re-architecture where I had to improve the system performance.
