We use desfire NFC cards in a specific application, but we want to also use the cards for access control with small Linux devices. We need someone to write a small Linux app that uses libnfc (or similar library) to just read the encrypted UIDs from cards when they are tapped. We have the cards, the readers and the keys for the encryption. We can ship all of that to you anywhere in the world. To be clear - a small app that runs continously and every time a card is tapped it just reads, descrypts and prints (to stdio) the card's UID. Please only bid if you have worked with desfire cards before. Bids asking to chat or without detail will be marked as spam.

Dear customer. I had experience with NFC while I was working at Motorola Solutions. It was not desfire but I do not see any problem here, it can be worked out. I am confident that I will be able to satisfy your needs. In general, I have more than 6 years of experience in low-level and hardware-related software development. And I am used to solving difficult tasks.

Hello, We have developed an application for Mifare Classic & Ultralight (Type 1 & 2 NFC), reading & writing UIDs & authenticating it from central application. Though, we haven't worked on DesFire (Type 4 NFC) but worked on JCOP card which is of same family. From your project description, I understand that you want to connect an NFC reader with a Linux box (just like RassberryPi), this linux box integrated with NFC reader will poll data continuously and whenever an NFC Card is tapped on it, its encrypt the data and pass to your application. This is my understanding, please correct it or modify it. I would appreciate if you please share any more info about this project requirement. We can discuss this further after receiving your initial response. Thank you. Regards, Harris.
