[login to view URL] is a good site to review. We require that the project be completed as we need. The past developer would not follow development spec which lead to his termination. This project is part of another project and will be integrated with other modules. As such data base design, specs and other design features are important to the integration. At this time the System allow items to be set up, player to register, place bids, some timer functions for the items and some history functions. While this is a working penny action, several features are not complete. The follow is an outline of the additions and modifications need to complete the project. When I refer to item status I am referring to the ItemStatus field in the Data base table Items and the variable status in the app itself. 1. Loading items. Items with a status 1 or 2 would be load and displayed. 1. Items with status = 1 are active items open for bidding. 2. Items with status =2 are displayed as closed - or completed. 2. Only items that are active for bidding may be bid on - items with status = 1 1. Items at status 2 - completed are displeyd but no bids are allowed. 3. When a bid is placed the item table must be updated with the players name and account as well as the current bid. 1. At this time only the current bid amount is update which makes loading the items at start up difficult, The other information must be acquires to display the active bid items 2. This also prohibits a good item won function and reporting , as the data is not there. 3. When the index page loads the items, I do not want it using the bid table to get the data for the last player bid. All of the data need to be in the item table. 4. A won item history page is need. At this time there is no data in the data base for these items. When an auction is complete, the status of the item is changes and a recorded is inserted into ItemHistory table. The function in the code for when an auction is over is working, but not updating the item table to staus =2 or inserting a record in the ItemHistory table. 5. In a penny auction, there are a timer for each item, the timer is in place and works. But there are errors. The time the auction should end must be based on the serve time. At this time there is a 6 hour different between the server time and the time that the item timer uses. 1. Fix time difference between timer and server time. 2. Item with status = 1 open with the timer running. Open for bids 3. Items with status = 2 are loaded and displayed as compled. Not open for bids 4. The timer would only be extended if a player post a bid in the last minute of the auction. 5. After it is extened for one minute, it would not be extended again till there is less than one minute remaining. 6. If two player place bind in the last minute, the bid time is only extend for one minute. 6. In the timer function, when the time for the auction to end is in the last minute, if a player places a bid, in the last minute, the time for the auction is extended for an addition minute. The bid time is only extended one minute; every if several players place a bid in the last minute. This same rules applies, in that as long as players place bids the time is extended one minute. 7. No bids after item auction has closed. 8. When an item auction is complete, it will be closed by changing the status, the status in the data base and in the system is set to status = 2 1. Item will be displayed as completed. 2. No bids on closed items are allowed. 3. A record is inserted in the bidhistory table. 9. Need a page to display upcoming items. Players would be able to click on the items and see the details. No BIDS are allow on this page. Up coming items for auction are statue =0. 10. Need a page to display the completed auctions, these are loaded from the itemHistory table. I need a developer that has English skills. I only use MS chat. There are the mile stones that we would pay on. 1. Load the items and displaying with the correct status. 2. Time fix for server time and bid closing time be correct. 3. Close items auction and updating Items table and inserting record in Itemhistory table. 4. Fixing timer extending for bids placed in the last minute of bidding. 5. Item history page. 6. Upcoming items page. This is the first set of milestones. I need time and cost for each. We will deliver to you the penny auction project with data base. The project must be delivered, with source, for testing of each item[s] in the milestone and ready for testing before payment will be made.
