A statement of purpose for graduate program (PhD in International Taxation)

I need help with a statement of purpose for a PhD of International Taxation program. I work in an Oil & Gas Company in the middle east, I have an engineering back ground and I have worked in project management for a while. I have a scholarship oppurtionity to do PhD in International Business. knowing that Taxation ( VAT) in my country is a new thing that started only in 2018, therefore, we have faced several difficulties dealing with the new taxation regulation and that what triggered the interest to gain knowledge in Taxation. Knowing that Taxation is within business school then you need to emphasise my interest in international business. about me: I travelled a lot, open minded and knows a lot about other cultures. proven to be an effective leader during the time he spent in the oil & gas company which undergoes a lot of business challenges ex: Claims Management, Management of Complex & Capital programs, Contracts Development & Amendments..etc. Such challenges can be solved easily utilizing the proposed program knowledge with abdul's engineering background. Besides my leadership skills is my technical skills and knowledge that led me to accomplish my tasks successfully.I have handled many initiatives and activities that had great impact on the division and department KPI’s such as: · Exceeding his project Localisation Contractual requirements by 8%. · Helped contractors to participate in two (2) job fairs to improve localisation , which resulted adding additional local manpower to the project. · Initiated and executed a memorable health campaign about ergonomics under the name of the Refining & NGL Projects Department. I am a strategic thinker with critical thinking skills. a person who always lean towards exerting extra efforts to exceed expectations. Abdul has a multinational background due his education from the United States along with his profound involvements with five (5) different contractors from different countries along his career (Jacobs Engineering Group prior to joining , with SAPMT he worked with Larson& Tubro India, Samaung South Korea, Sinopec China, and Technicas Ruinidas Spain). Furthermore, he proved himself in a 3 month’s Business assignment in India & 14 month’s assignment in Spain. We believe that the Business School program would complement Abdul’s background and enhance his leadership and business skills as it would equip him with the essential tools needed in order to reach the Organizational goals. 2 pages
