Hi there. Interested in learning drafting (what you call 2D/3D drawing)? That's interesting (pardon the pun)! Now, I never was good at AutoCAD. I took about 3 months trying to learn it until I gave up on it, and moved on to Inventor (it's from the same company, Autodesk). Inventor's learning curve is way, way, way gentler. Plus, you can export files easily from Inventor to AutoCAD. If you'd like to learn drafting, I recommend using software that's keeping up with the times. And that's Inventor (the future of CAD/CAE is in something called Fusion, but that's out of scope at the moment). And I also recommend that you hire me. But if you only want to learn AutoCAD, I understand, and I'll have to say that I'm not the best person at that. I currently teach my schoolmates CAD/CAE, and I am thrilled every time someone learns something from me.
