Modelling the cord stretch and safety zones Analyse the stretch of a bungy cord and create a graph of the forward and lateral movement of a bungy jumper. Ie a a 3D model of the Jump zone The project involves modelling the bounce and stretch and forwards and backwards and lateral movement of a bungy jumper on a rubber bungy cord. Parameters Bungy cord unstretched length is 60m Maximum stretch is 240m A 110kg jumper will stretch the 60m cord to 240m The jump point is 6m away from the anchor point of the bungy cord At full stretch the jumper will be vertically under the anchor point The jumper will bounce in an eclipitical motion Bungy cord is made from extruded latex rubber
