Do you already have any preferable model of the touch panel? What temperature sensor would you like to use? Do you need any suggestions for it? I can make a code for this, despite the RPi seeming an overkill for that task and I can propose a better and cheaper (and in some cases - more reliable) controller. However, it also can be done with RPi if it is essential. I have more than 30 years of experience in electronics and programming.
