We need a Joomla module that shows notifications from our Kunena forum similar to the one for Jomsocial. It will have 3 icons in a row that will have the number of new notices you have. When you click on the icons there will be a pop up window with the new notices and also a button that says view all. If you click on a notice link in the popup it will to take you to that item in the forum. If you click show all then it will take you to a page with a list of that type of notification. The main thing we want is user tagging in the forum. For example @username@ will send a notice to the module that this user tagged you in this thread. The reason for 2 @s is because we allow spaces and special characters in usernames. We had this developed before but they changed some core files and once I updated the software this function went away. So it needs to be a stand alone extension that can be updated by the developer as needed. The next notification icon will show things like (Jason replied to the topic 'April 2016 Photo of the Month Contest' in the forum) or (A new topic has been started in 'thread you are subscribed to') along with others. The 3rd icon will just be for thank yous and karma increases. (Jason thanked John in topic 'April 2016 Photo of the Month Contest') No Joomla or Kunena core files can be edited. We want to be able to install this extension using the normal Joomla installation method. Strong understanding of Joomla, Kunena, PHP, HTML5, mysql, and CSS are a must.
