Wordpress Fancybox Setup / Styling

I am using Easy Fancybox plugin to show the post content in a lightbox style popup. It is working but need some adjustments. Currently I am using the iframe option to display the post content in the popup when the user clicks on the post link, it is working properly except that I am not able to dynamically adjust the popup height based on post content height and also I need the background page overflow to be hidden but the popup overlay should be scrollable to show the entire post content. Also, I want the url to change to the post url when the popup is active and change back to home url once closed. The other option I have is to show the popup with inline content instead of loading from iframe this is also working but it is breaking the main page layout. I would prefer the inline option with url changing to post url when popup is active and revert to home url once closed. If an example could help... this is exactly what I need.
