Description We are seeking a WordPress Developer to help us out in finalizing a platform called StudyCrafter ([login to view URL]). This platform allows users to create and participate in gamified research projects. We have been inspired by Scratch ([login to view URL]) and for that reason call it a “Scratch for Scientific Research”. We recently moved from developing our own website to using WordPress for several reasons and need someone who is more familiar with WordPress, in particular with its backend as we expect that custom plugins and other customizations are needed. In addition, we also seek help in finetuning and improving our MySQL database. This MySQL database should store user activities across the platform and there should be an easy way for users to retrieve data. Qualifications We seek an experienced freelancer who can jump right in and help us out. The ideal candidate has strong programming skills, experience with developing WordPress plugins, knowledge of php and python, and extensive experience with developing MySQL databases. Frontend development experience is useful but not necessary. Interested?
