Hi, I'm looking to create a fairly simple program with a GUI. Right now I am running a program (FI Tools) through batch scripts / the command line, but this program is going to have be ran by less technically-inclined users, so we are looking to make the process more user-friendly. Right now the batch file looks like this: @echo off cd C:\Program Files (x86)\FID3 fiwdir **target_directory** **parameters** >**output_directory\[login to view URL]** From what I have thought of myself, the program should: -Check that FI Tools is installed -Ask the user for the target directory, this may or may not include subfolders -Default to a list of parameters -Ask the user for an output directory -Ask the user for the output filename (it should be outputting .csv files) -Have an "Customize" option that allows the user to modify the parameters -If this is done by creating and running .bat files it should delete them after they are ran. Hello! I believe I can help with tor project. I would first go by suggesting a very simple UI using python and tkinter. This should allow for a very quick turnaround, and the best thing is that it would be easy to maintain because of python. This would be packaged in a .exe so that is just a standalone file that can be used everywhere. Another solution would be a .Net UI, probably in C#.
