Hi abhi98041, I think I came across one post of yours mentioning you have experience with joblib. I have a data processing code written in python, and another writen in Labview (using Multithreading). The multithreaded (labview) script goes 4 times faster than the python.
I would like to potentially implement the 'joblib' scheme to use all cores of our machine. However, I am quite lazy to go learn it, couldnt find a easy/quick learning way. Only the joblib manual.
The code is relatively simple. It is just a list of functions for:
(1) arrival time correction of a laser pulse data set
(2) sorting data that was corrected with last function
(3) binning data sorted
We simply run it of Spyder, and interect with the script by calling the functions we want to use.
It is the first time I use this freelancer platform, so I prefer considering using this service on my private budget if it is affordable.
In any case, for you to evaluate the code, I would need to send also the original data files we use the code with for the analysis. I then would need some good level of confidentiallity.
In any case, are you guys confortable with Joblib (and avoiding python GIL)?
