Operations Assistant
$15-25 AUD / hour
Every day is exciting and different at Entertainment Emporium. We are a nationwide business servicing all types of entertainment needs including Children’s Birthday Parties, Stilt Walking, Balloon Twisting, Face Painting, Roving acts and More.
We are looking for an experienced part-time administration assistant to join our team.
The primary function of your role is:
Managing incoming phone calls and emails.
Booking in jobs with our clients.
Liase with performers to schedule in gigs.
Ordering and maintaining costumes and stock.
To be able to complete this role, you will show friendly disposition, fantastic communication skills, and exceptional organisational and time management skills. Your observant nature and exceptional attention to detail will be second to none, and overall you will be a team player working closely with the Owner and office manager of the company.
Key Attributes
Experience in customer services and sales.
Capable of using Word/Excel on Mac Platform.
Think quickly and able to problem solve.
Capable to learn, or already use basic accounting software (Xero).
Fast and proficient typist 60+ Words per minute.
Ability to work independently, but also in a team environment.
Warm and Open demeanour - we deal with children, entertainers and agencies from all over Australia on a daily basis.
University Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business, Accounting or Sales highly sought after.
