Do not use .htacess to redirect HTTP to HTTPS. First go to your Admin, Settings, General and change the site address's from HTTP to HTTPS. If this does not work then use a Redirect Plugins to force redirection. Normally the Certificate seller redirects the website and this can take up to 24 Hours.
