I have worked on projects that required to be done on all flavors Linux For some of the project, I complete the following: • Used Python to monitor Ethernet activity on Linux host (Python: pcapy, dpkt, scapy). Owasp, MSF, nmap etc.... Detect port scans of various types in provided PCAP files. I use a multitude of tools, some manual and some automated. Some examples would be Kali Linux platform, sqlmap, ssltrip. nmap, openvas, nessus, spiders, metaslploit, BeEF). I capture screenshots and sometimes recording so I can generate very nice reports. And something that I have that others don't have is that I have a strong background on Risk Management. So I can tell on a business language if the finding really is an issue or not for the business. Vulnerabilities I exploited: weak encryption (ssltrip - was able to capture username and password in clear text downgrading https to http), SQLi (using sqlmap, dumping databases), XSS (stealing cookies sessions IDs).
