Configure XDebug to work with Visual Studio Code + Codeigniter

I have a php Codeignter project, and I want to integrate it with XDebug. I am using Visual Studio Code as IDE. XDebug is working fine with native php pages but when try to use it with Codeignter, break point deos not hit. I want someone who can connect to my PC using team viewer and fix this.
