This project is to build a simple web application that will predict soccer results using an algorithm (this formula will be provided) based on a number of real-life factors. It will connect to the [url removed, login to view] API, pulling in their basic real-time soccer data for each of the main world leagues seen here: [url removed, login to view] This API also provides bookmakers odds which will also be required.
The platform will then calculate our own odds for each match result using the algorithm as a means of identifying bets that offer good value to betters (by comparing our predicted odds with those of the bookmaker).
Users should be able to register (for free) and then access a list of upcoming soccer fixtures which will show our odds against the bookmakers odds (from the bookmaker with the highest odds). Initially, all that will be checked will be for match result odds - Home win, Draw, Away win.
Attached is an example of how the list should look:
Users should be able to filter the odds to identify which fixtures we think are good value (where our odds are shorter than the bookmakers odds). Users should also be able to filter by country and league, e.g, England>PremierLeague.
Profile (Username, Email, PW)
Login as user (allows the admin to login as any user)
User List (view users and edit details or delete them).
Dashboard (Displaying the fixture list with filters)
The platform should be developed using PHP/MySQL and front-end languages. We are suggesting the Twitter Bootstrap framework (with a theme provided) but are open to advice on this. The developer will develop on their own test server initially, and, once completed migrate it to our live server. At the is point, this project is for just the web application itself and not the front-end supporting sales website (which will be required separately).
The platform should be mobile-friendly, fast loading and fully responsive.
