Operating System Required : SUSE 13.1 32 bit Linux Objective: Write Bash scripts in Linux Command mode. ** Create Shell Scripts and write the shell script for the following problem: Problem: Write a Bash script that can back up files and/or folders. The script should prompt for file/s or folder/s and verify that the provided input is valid (specified files/folders exist on the file system). The script should then prompt for the location and the name of the file containing the backup (the script should also verify that the location of the backup file is valid). Once the above is done, the script should ask if the compression should be applied to the backup. Finally, the script should execute the backup and report on the completion of the task. I need this code for my school project. The code must run on my machine successfully

I can quickly do a command line based script that would prompt you for source and destination, check if both are valid and then ask you also if you want to compress the backup. You would end up with either a .tar file or a .[login to view URL] or .[login to view URL] if you want. I do sysadmin on a daily basis and this is quite a regular type of thing I need to do here and there.
