Produce a script that can read binary .stl files to calculate the following parameters:

bounding box (width, height, depth)

surface area

volume

No UI design work required. You can find a script that runs a similar job on the client's computer on this site: www.3dprintingpricecheck.com. However, in our case we want the script to run server side, here is the flow:

1.1 User selects unit of measure (inch, cm or mm) from a drop down and uploads .stl file

1.2 Data is posted to external script

2.1 Calculate the following parameters of the .stl file in the selected unit (inch, cm or mm) and return the information to the "results page":

bounding box (width, height, depth)

surface area

volume

2.2 Save the .stl file via sftp

volume

unit of measure (as selected by user on "upload page)

file name of .stl file and URL of saved file
