Project Description

Next slideshow project. I think the baseline code is already in the MemberLogin forms. The goal is to allow users to select 1-day calendar dates for purchase and use with the slideshow. Payments will all be with the PayPal scripting installed.

I have created MemberLogin group called "Purchase SMS Event" and made a form at memberArea/purchaseEvent.php. This form is to give you an idea of the process...the user will need to purchase the slideshow access by calendar days. In the back end the client will be able to navigate the tabs at all times, but the actual slideshow will remain hidden until the calendar day is reached. I would like it to display a simple text similar to the "No images found" message within the slideshow now...something like "Next Slideshow is set for: {date}".

Here are the requirements I can think of for this to work:

- My internal account should always accept pictures and hashtags. (This is both for testing purposes and to demo to others)

- There needs to be a backend payment form where the user selects the date and then proceeds to Paypal. (The existing form is for registration--no duplicate email address is allowed-- so a separate version of the form is needed. It would be nice if the form already had their account information pre-filled and let the same email address come back for additional purchases.)

- When purchase is complete, an email should be sent to johnny@[url removed, login to view] to alert me of the purchase.

- Hashtag and texting pictures should not be processed except on paid dates. For now just delete the file. (We may adjust this later, but for now let's make it easy.)

- Each purchase is for 1 [url removed, login to view] can be for today or a future date. Users can come back and make another purchase for another date.

- Date should only be added to customer record when payment is complete. The backend will need a way to show a listing of all upcoming purchased dates.

- There should be a cron job to delete all pictures from Incoming, Approved, Denied and Archive folders each Friday @ 6AM.
