Point 2: If Siteground will not give you root access, then it's not your server. Point 3: Wordpress and its various plugins run fine even on shared accounts, without anyone mucking around to optimize queries. In fact, the people who CAN optimize the query structure, if it even needs it, are the Wordpress developers and the plugin developers, NOT end users. So, yeah, I can do the job for you, when you want to move your site to a new server. In fact, to prove my point, I'll offer you this: I'll copy your site over to my server and let you run it there for 30 days, for free, while keeping your siteground hosting up. If you're satisfied with the site's performance after the 30 days are up, then you pay me my usual $30 site transfer fee and $40/mo every month thereafter. This will be for whatever space you're using now + 5GB. If you surpass that, then the additional space will be priced at $9 per 5GB (pricing for business accounts on the server). If you're not happy with the performance, then you pay me nothing, switch DNS back to siteground and you're back where you started with no real loss.
