Project Description

User Experience

1. Log in

2. Get a view of „schools“ with columns „name“, „street“, „zip“,“city“, „phone“ and „e-mail“

3. Click on icon next to school entry in list and get a list of all active “courses”, sorted asc by start date. Active is defined by “course_state” (checkbox checked in course record means active).

4. Click on icon next to course entry an get a list of all lessons, ordered by lesson_date, lesson_start_time asc

5. Click on icon next to lesson entry and get a list of all “activities” with columns, start_time, end_time, duration, activity_title and description, ordered by acticity_order.

Important: start_time and end_time are dynamic fields, meaning: first activity of the lesson takes start time from lesson_start_time, first activity_end_time is lesson_start_time + duration of first activity. Second activity takes start_time from end_time of first actitivy, second activity end_time is second activity_start_time + duration of second activity and so on…

Activity records should be managed as follows:

1. Go to a specific lesson

2. Choose “add activity”

3. Get a list/select box or something like this of activity types

4. Choose one activity type

5. Activity type is insereted a first position (if lesson plan empty) or last position, if there’s already activities)

6. Add additional information to actitivy like duration, description

7. Drag and drop functionality to reorder activities within lessons

8. New start and end times of activities are calculated automatically

9. If total duration of activities is longer than lesson_end_time – lesson_start_time, supernumerary activities are marked with red icon/border or background
