The overall function of the login is the same as a standard WordPress installation except that it will register the user on another website hosting our photo book design software by using an API call. In addition, when the user clicks "Design Now", the website should detect if the user is logged in, and if so get the session ID by API call. If the user is not logged in, it should prompt the user to register or login. After registering the site should register the new user on the other server as well by API call. After creating a new user or logging in, the site should get the session ID which can be used to create a hyperlink to the designer.
