Correctly adapt a website for mobile viewing

I have an OSCommerce store up and running, working with templates. I adapted it for mobile viewing a while ago, but I know it is not fully optimized, and I would like the last tweaks done by someone who does know how to do it correctly.
To have a look at it, just search for "securame". When loading it from mobile, the width gets adapted, the header changes, the right column gets removed, the font sizes get changed, etc. but I think the viewport settings still are not right, and it still does not adapt automatically to the mobile width. Also google gives a warning that the page is not optimized.
Any other improvements for better mobile viewing will be welcome.Get free quotes for a project like this
