We have a requirement to integrate an Open Source Learning Management System (LMS) into our website. We run a Content Management System (CMS) called Plone with a Zope web framework on Linux with MySQL databases and we would like for the LMS to integrate into our website and report related information such as courses available, courses taken, grades, and other related data to our user database or create courses database that our user database can point to when this type of information is required to be displayed on the website. We have a lead developer/application integrator that the coder will have to work with to ensure that the new LMS integrates smoothly. Our website skin will have to be applied to the LMS, and similar look feel modifications will be required by the developer to implement with the help/coordination of our Lead Developer. So far we like an LMS called Moodle ([login to view URL]), but a list of other Open Source LMS packages we are willing to consider can be found at: [login to view URL] We have several upcoming projects like this, and we also have a requirement for a backup web developer/application integrator (contract basis only). If you are hired for this project, and perform well we will seriously consider you for that position.
