**Objective**: To add some functionality to an e-commerce site, thereby drawing more customers to the site.

This project must be completed under the **XAMPP environment**, a cross platform environment consisting of Apache, MySQL and Perl will be specifically used.

The following are the **features** to be added to the e-commerce site ([url removed, login to view])

1. Create a “service request?? hyperlink from http:// [url removed, login to view] homepage to open in new browser window or new browser tab. The hyperlink will be located on the [url removed, login to view] homepage.

2. The “service request?? webpage will consist of a web form.

? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? The web form will include a drop down menu highlighting professional services offered by Inrivid.

Additionally, the form will include text boxes that prompt the customer for their name, telephone number (both personal and business), email address; and most importantly a comments/message textbox where the user will enter the details around service requested, and? will be submitted via a submit button.

1. Upon successfully completing the form, the form data will be:

1. Create a web browser interface that will allow the administrator to query the SQL database using criteria from the web form created in step 2.

**All files will be stored in the folders named dhtml and tt2 under this path of the xampp environment**: **\export\srv\www\vhosts\local**. It is **necessary** in this assignment to use **perl, css, xhtml and tt2** to achieve objective.

Dhtml files are Perl files renamed as .dhtml

To test the outcome, open browser and type localhost.

Replace xampp with dhtml/file to be tested.
