Medium size web site

Task: to develop a small / medium-size web site subject to the following specifications. Purpose of site: internet shop selling clothes (with a simplified shopping cart, but no on-line payment processing) Based on CSS, DHTML, Flash (v.8), ASP or PHP (ASP is preferred but not mandatory) and MySQL. Do not use .NET . If you select ASP, you may use PHP instead of ASP for some specific pages (like the sendForm for "contact us" ), or for other pages - subject to my approval. Sections positioning is to be based on tables and on CSS where appropriate. Page look-and-feel and colors will be provided in a conceptual form. Code should be professionally written in a coherent and logical way, and very well documented. Try to write "lean" pages for a fast loading time. Do not use application generators. Do not use commercial template-based programming. Coding should be hand-coded - exceptions must be pre-approved by me. Selected items may be generated by a 3rd party program if pre-approved by me. I prefer bidders that have already done web-site dev. Please include a link to a site you already did, including a typical page showing the source code (with javascript and either PHP or ASP in it) To make sure that the project will be completed on time I will request , before accepting your bid, that you define progress milestones. I will actively participate in defining layout and logic, and help to resolve any issue that may come up. When you determine your bid amount, please note that the specs provide herein are not 100% complete, and some 10-20% additional work may be required as we progress. If you perform and progress well, I may extend the delivery time to accommodate you. Normally I also pay bonuses for work well done and for paying attention to details. Part of the required deliverables of this project would be to install it on a well-equipped and supported shared-hosting site and make sure it works on that site. More details in the attached doc. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 2003 shared-hosting web server running IIS6 with ASP, .NET, PHP, MySQL with some ASP components (upload, email).
