WAV/MP3 Player

Need a WAV/MP3 player that will allow users (novice and experienced alike) via a "snazzy or futuristic" looking interface to select a song from a huge database. Users will have to log on to the server (Win2000 Professional) and set up an easy account (with user's name and name of users' only playlist that contains his/her songs). After the account has been set up the user will be able to select a certain number of songs, say 4 or 5 songs from the database (actual amount is adjustable by me/administrator). If the program sees that a song has already been selected, it will display a error message that says,"Song already in que or has already been played. Already played songs will be available shortly. In the meantime, please select another song". Ads can be used to thank users. The song database will be categorized/displayed as 1. Romantic songs 2. Rap songs 3. Oldies (listed by years and slow and fast)) 4. Hip-Hop songs 5. R&B songs 6. Rock/Pop songs 7. Country songs 8. Blues 9. Miscellaneous songs The categories displayed will be up to the administrator. A picture of the song's artist should be displayed in the database. A 15 second sample of the song can be listened to by the user to make sure they are selecting the right song. A separate part of the program can display the name of the song being played and the user who selected it. This information will be beamed onto a screen via a projector that has a computer connected to it. Songs shouldn't repeat for 3 hours. The player will have skins. The songs should be "mixable", that is one song can start to play while another song is ending (except for slow to fast song transitions). All mixing options is at the discretion of the administrator via the program. The songs should be able to play without any help from the administrator or users. If an user hasn't selected a song or hasn't even logged on, the program will play songs from a playlist that was created by the administrator via the program. The program will randomly go through each users playlist and select a certain number of songs to be played. The administrator can decide how many fast songs will be played each hour and the number of slow/romantic songs to be played each hour. Fast songs are played in groups as are slow songs. Users should be able to change their playlist selections at anytime by logging back onto the server and accessing their playlist. ## Deliverables Complete source code of all programming work done and all rights therein
