Add/Edit Feautres To Magento Plugin: Apptha Market Place

We need some customizations made to the concept of a "product" in the Magento Apptha Market Place plugin. The Marketplace Plugin allows users to register as sellers and to list their own products for sale. Think Etsy. Currently, the plugin expects sellers to enter pricing, weight, SKU, shipping options, inventory, similar products, custom options, etc. We'd like to strip away many of those options and instead only allow sellers to enter these fields only: Name * (already part of the product options) Description * (already part of the product options) Short Description * (already part of the product options) Has the recipe won any competitions? No edits to the cores of these platforms unless approved by us. - Lean/minimal documentation on your changes. - We are going to need a LOT of Mage/Apptha custom work in the next six months. So building familiarity with the plugin would be a big bonus for more work in the near future.
