Freelance Illustration

Flocabulary Brooklyn, NY Overview We’re looking for freelance illustrators to create and design interesting characters and scenes for 2 to 4 minute educational music videos. This artwork will be animated by other freelancers or in-house. We’re open to different illustration styles but we prefer art that isn’t too cartoony and doesn’t seem geared toward young kids. We prefer art that is weird, interesting, funky and that will appeal to both students and adults. Required Skills • A strong, unique illustration style or an ability to mimic other styles • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator to create elements • Ability to work quickly and hit deadlines • Ability to communicate clearly and take direction through email and/or phone • Ability to animate (optional) Details • We encourage unique approaches to our illustrations so it’s a great opportunity for you to experiment as well as build your portfolio. • We’re looking for professionals who have a strong body of work. • We are definitely open to hiring illustrators who can animate or vice-versa. • This is a freelance, work-for-hire opportunity. You can be located anywhere. • We’re looking to provide steady, ongoing freelance projects for illustrators who are the right fit.
