I am looking for freelancers who have experience in Lightroom and Photoshop retouching to take on some of the work from my retouching company. We are a business that receives images from a range of clients, from family photographers to high end fashion shoots to weddings.
There are two types of job available:
- wedding photography: you will need to use Lightroom to select and edit wedding photographs. Photographers send us all of the pictures from a wedding (for example 1000 pictures) and we select the best ones (for example, 400 images). On the selected images, you will need to do basic adjustments in Lightroom: contrast, colour balance, sharpening and vignette or crop if needed. Each image should not take more than a minute. The payment: in this example, if the photographer sent 1000 pictures, you would receive £0.03 per image for choosing the best ones. Then, on the 400 images you edit, you will receive £0.10 per image. You would receive £70 for this example wedding. A colour calibrated monitor is essential for this job.
- portrait retouch: we are looking for retouchers who can make an image look better but keep it looking NATURAL. Each image will need blemish removal, some skin smoothing, eye contrast boost, teeth whitening, redness reduction and stray hair removal, in addition to contrast/colour correction if needed. The payment: there are 2 types of images that will be sent to you. 1) where the subject only needs retouch - £1 per image. 2) where the subject needs retouch and the background needs to be replaced with solid colour - £2 per image. There is one of each type of image included in the trial images link below.

- be able to work at least 5 days of the week (any 5 days)
