Essential Duties•Understand the current products data model, functional needs and data mapping•Work with Customer teams to create detailed data flow diagrams•Understand the company, program, and project visions and needs•Develop data analysis artifacts as data models, mapping documents logical and physical•Perform database administration and management•Perform database server tuning•Perform database security•SQL development skills to design and develop procedures and queries to meet business requirement•Installation , configuration and upgrading of database server software and related products•Evaluate sqlserver feature and sqlserver related products•Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures•Take care of the database design and implementationSkills•3 years of experience in relational and canonical database modelling•5 years of experience with database administration•5 years’ experience developing optimal stored procedures per defined developer•Experience creating data mirroring or replication strategies to migrate data from online to reporting database•Experience create data load scripts•Experience on any bug tracking systems (Jira is a plus)•Experience performing support for performance and load testing and adjusting sql queries through plan, stats crucial.•Experience writing sql scripts•Strong teamwork and the ability to quickly learn a must•Able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously•Proficient with MS Office applications•Understanding of XML, SQL queries and relational database•Relational database administration as SQL server•Modelling tool experience•Query optimization tool experience.-
