We need a news ticker written in C# working on Windows XP. News ticker should be configurable - but by default
it should make a visible box on screen (default black with white text). The text should be
able to scroll from left to right (if text length to long), or stand still or come horizontal down.
It should also be possible to fade text when changing textlines.
The program will periodically call a webservice to get information on what to display. Eg. it will
receive 5 entries from this WS with text and commands to display.
eg. it will receive an object with 3 commands:
[login to view URL] = 60;
[login to view URL] = ....
[login to view URL] = Auto
[login to view URL] = ....
1) [login to view URL]: 'This is a sample', [login to view URL]: null, [login to view URL]: 5, [login to view URL]: ContiniousScrollFromLeft, TextColor: White
2) [login to view URL]: 'Transaction today:', [login to view URL]: '500', [login to view URL]: 5, [login to view URL]: Static, [login to view URL] = Center, TextColor: White
3) [login to view URL]: 'Loooooooooooooong text', [login to view URL]: null, [login to view URL]: 10, [login to view URL]: ContiniousScrollFromLeft, TextColor: Blue
Feel free to change field names etc.
Any 3rd party libraries used will need to be approved beforehand. Sample WS is also to be made as part of this which
will just output the above scenarios. Simple error handling such as if WS is not responding or is slow responding
then program should not hault but simple keep looping messages until new data have arrived.
