I have been working as linux admin for a few years now - this is easy job. I could do it on teamviewer if you so chose - Should not take much time Script will do following: 1. Create temp dir 2. do rsync - check exit status/errors (Send email if emailing is configured) 3. verify backup on remote - via checking file # and df 4. move old backup to /tmp 5. archive old dir 6. rename temp dir to as needed 7. send sucess email with rsync log + # of files/size of folder --- Cron it @daily
