MATLAB: Audio processinng and data analysis

I have a Database (MedleyDB) with 117 songs that are composed of multiple instruments. I take those instruments and level pann them so that in the end you can hear with headphones a spatial separation between those instruments. I already have a working script to do the above task, it will generate stimuli containing different spatial conditions. So the most important part is done. The problem: The script takes the songs and extracts randomly 160 (or more) excerpts (a few seconds) and from each it is generating 4 versions (spatial conditions). I want the script to choose the prior defined excerpts instead of random ones. For this purpose, you have the folder with the code and its subfunctions and an excel file ‘expp’ that contains the needed specifications of those 160 excerpts (song number, start and end time). Your task: Modify the script so that it will take the defined 160 excerpts and generates the different conditions from those 160. Deadline: 26th July 2021. Based on prior and similar projects, a few days should be sufficient. We can discuss that.
