On-Shelf Market Research: Thailand (Bangkok)

We are working on a client project for an Australian manufacturer of sauces, dressings, and condiments. We are helping them prepare for market entry into Thailand - more specifically Bangkok. As part of the work, we will include an on-shelf competitor analysis for this market, which includes the following information: - Product Name - Competitor pricing - Country of manufacture - Pack size (g/mL) - Ingredients list - Product claims - Type of packaging (glass jar, sealed bag, sachets etc) - Positioning in-store (e.g. health food aisle, condiments aisle etc) - Promotion (if being discounted/extras etc) - Photos of the front of the products and shelves - Importer's detail as per label on packaging The job will require you to visit the following retail outlets around Bangkok: - 7-Eleven - Big C - Tops Market - Central Food Hall - Foodland Supermarket - Villa Market - Gourmet Market - Emporium You will be required to go to the shelves where the following product categories are stocked: - Tables Sauces - Herbs & Spices - Recipe Bases - Mustards - Pasta Sauces - Microwaveable Rice - Dressings - Mayonnaise - Squeezable Sauce Range - Burger Sauce You will need to photograph the products and shelf space (where possible) and complete a competitor analysis template in an excel spreadsheet (which we provide). Please note, you can take photos of the entire shelf space, then complete the spreadsheet via internet searching based on the products photographed in-store. We envisage that it will take between 20-25 hours to complete. We are prepared to pay up to AUD $250 for the completion of the job. The project will be awarded to the most competitive quote that can demonstrate the capability to accurately perform this task. Once accepted, we will send through the excel file to be filled out with an example of what it may look like. The deadline for this project is Wednesday the 5th of November. With a draft of the images and of the excel document to be sent in by the 1st of November. Looking forward to a great response!
