The Crafty Adventurer logo

I need someone to take my idea for a logo and turn it into something brilliant! The logo I am looking for is a simple brand mark that combines the two key aspects of the business, outdoor adventure with crafting wooden products, with an emphasis on the outdoor adventure. I am looking for something simple that ends up looking like a stamp or brandmark that could be burnt into a wooden product. I have created two versions of what the logo could look like along with a colour scheme, but I am really happy for you to let your creativity run wild! So know that you are welcome to try anything, swap colours and mess with the logo if you think it will work better. I do not need a variety of different logo file outputs as I can adjust colours and create different versions, I just need someone that is a brilliant designer to bring my vague idea to life! Information about the business: The Crafty Adventure runs playful and active programs in the outdoors that evolve with the participants as they grow. Raising a teenager has always been challenging, especially today with all the gizmo’s, socials, interwebs and screens that dominate our lives. They say it takes a village to raise a child… but most of us have lost our village, our community, our deep daily connection with those we live next door to. So think of The Crafty Adventurer as a one man village for hire (or at least one part of that village)! Having your teenager join one of his programs kills so many birds with one stone that it would be considered an ecological disaster! Get your teen to; Get off the couch, Get off screens, Get physically active, Meet & connect with new people their age, Get into nature and develop a connection with the paradise we live in, Develop a meaningful relationship with an adult (other than their parents), Learn new skills, Challenge themselves, Learn to value themselves, Become a part of a tribe, Take responsibility for themselves and the rest of their tribe, Spend time in an environment where they can feel free to truly be themselves, not who they feel pressure to be. AND….. wait for it….. Have a WHOLE LOT OF FUN! But what are these magical bird killing programs you ask? They come in all shapes and sizes from individual mentoring, group adventure programs, boys groups, epic multi-day adventures, campouts and family camps. Sometimes programs spring out of a need within the community (just like the Boys of the Bush program did, ask Crafty to tell you that story one day…) and other times it’s just a combination of what Crafty loves doing and what he thinks teenagers will get into! Finally, when our friend The Crafty Adventurer isn’t out adventuring, he’s crafting! Using mostly found timber (fallen trees or camphor that’s considered a weed where we live and has been cleared) Crafty works with timber and resin to create all sorts of delicious products from boards, to pendants and jewellery, knife racks, key rings and even the odd table when he finds a nice big bit of timer to work with! Whether he’s on his own in his happy place (the workshop!) or working with young people, as long as there’s the smell of sawdust in the air and the sound of power tools and chisels, Crafty’s a happy boy! And who exactly is this Crafty Adventurer fella? He’s Roland Fraval, a youth worker, outdoor leader, facilitator and expert creator (and player!!) of games. Roland’s passion is to create long lasting relationships with young people and their families that can help support them through their teenage years so they can come out the other side knowing who they are and how they can best share their unique talents and gifts with the world. He also LOVES adventuring through the paradise we all live in throughout the northern rivers and is a black belt ninja-master level when it comes to making up and getting waaaaay too into playing games!
