React/Typescript code refactor to make it DRY and fix a few bugs

The front end stack is React and Typescript, our forms are handled by Formik, which has baked-in validation using Yup.
I have a module for a password reset page that is set up to show a list below the "password" and "confirm password" inputs that shows:
O At least eight characters
O At least one number
O At least one lowercase letter
O At least one special character *, &, %, $, #, @ or !
O At least one capital letter
O Passwords match
As the user creates their password, the circles and text turn green or red depending if the user's password meets that line's criteria.
Problems:
- The current solution code has a lot of repetition, which could be abstracted out.
- Currently only the circle changes color, but the mockup requires the text also change on error state
- There is an artifact from the old validation scheme that needs to be changed or removed
I need someone who can write concise, DRY code and who can debug.
