Problem Using Netty IO Buffer

I am using Netty for a project. [login to view URL] I am using java. I want to print out the packet that is received by the Channel Read. So, I put in the statement in the ChannelRead routine as follows: public void channelRead(final ChannelHandlerContext ctx, Object msg) { if ([login to view URL]()) { ByteBuffer bbb = (ByteBuffer) msg; } } The program compiles but when it is executed, it abends with the following: [login to view URL]: [login to view URL] cannot be cast to [login to view URL] I need a way to manipulate the PooledUnsafeDirectByteBuf. I need to get it into either a byte array or a byte buffer. I will pay up to $25 for the answer.
