We are aiming to work with groups of year 9 and 10 students (no more than 5 groups of 5-6 students) on producing a short animation film on hepatitis B. We are working with Arabic and Assyrian communities and the animation film would need to be culturally appropriate to them. The aim of the animation would be to increase knowledge and awareness of hepatitis B within the community. The students will be provided with theoretical material (by us) to gain understanding of the topic and help with writing their scripts.
The animator will need to teach the students how to make a short animation film using PC software and assist them in making their own animation in groups.
the lessons may need to be given during school hours or after school. The animator may need to be flexible with availability and able to cater for the school and students' availability.
