Student Grade Query in HTML using google sites

I am a teacher and I would like to have my students individually access their grades via the class website using their student id as an entry to the query/form. The class website is created using google sites (the new version) [login to view URL] I have the student ids and grades in an excel spreadsheet. Each student has a student id and a grade for n number of entries (homework, midterm, project, etc..). Currently in the grade spreadsheet: the first column has the student id, the second column has the homework grade, and the third column has the project grade, etc. google sites does let me add an embedded html code. I would like to embed a form query in html in the website such that a student can enter his/her student id in the form/query and the site would retrieve this particular student's grades from the spreadsheet. What's the simplest way to do this?
