I wanted to create a basic web browser using Gecko FX and XULRunner (latest versions) to be CSS3 and HTML5 compatible, if possible. Need to get started with the browser to be able to pull up the website by typing the URL in the search bar. No need to pull a list of websites. Just the website itself.

I have been responsible of developing several browsers integrated in desktop apps. Instead of using Gecko I would suggest using Chromium instead. It provides greater reliability and is compatible with HTML5 and CSS3. If you want to use Gecko, there is no problem with that. I would be plased to add any feature you want to the browser.
