We are a family oriented and family run medical centre located in Sydney CBD and Redfern. Our friendly teams of supporting staff are looking for bright and bubbly colleagues to assist behind our busy front desks. You will be taking care of telephone bookings and face to face bookings. You will be of general assistance to our great team of Doctors, Specialists and various Allied Health Providers. You will also be responsible for Booking, Billing, Contact with Specialists and all other General Reception Duties. You must have: Excellent customer service and great speed on the phone Excellent interpersonal skills Great communication and computer skills Experience with Best Practice advantageous, but not essential Medical experience in a similar environment is preferred Decision making and problem solving skills

I've worked as VIRTUAL MEDICAL ADMIN in clinic based in Canada for 13 months. As virtual medical admin, I do filing files by categories, receive incoming calls via zoiper, call patients and other doctors clinic via zoiper, do emails, appointment setter. Very good knowledge in Accuro EMR. My previous job is a personal assistant of a doctor for 5 years.  Receive patients, assist them with filling out forms, maintain and retrieve medical files, and transcribe and type medical reports. I also manage all her bank accounts, taxes,  expenses. good knowledge of computer applications, spreadsheets, and medical software. This knowledge enables them to perform duties like updating patient information, scheduling appointments, managing the facility's database and medical records, managing the physician's schedule, and processing payments and insurance claims for the patient. I also have good verbal and written communication skills to write and prepare reports, talk with patients (both in person and by telephone), and transcribe and type medical reports.
