You will construct a series of pages based on the traditional book format. This structure has been used for centuries, and it continues to be an excellent solution for most formal applications. Once you have the basic format, you will create text pages as well as introductory/title pages — either for the beginning of a book or for a single chapter. In addition to the source material on Blackboard, I will show student work from previous classes to guide you toward appropriate solutions.
— Exercises: Kerning with Trajan, photograph hand-drawn letters in your neighborhood
— Assignments: Construct two spreads (four pages) of text in the classical page format, plus design three versions of a title page
Use Adobe inDesign for 9 pages. Text should not have Hyphins and should be asymmetrical overall
