We're looking for illustrators to submit works and portfolio for a children's book.
There will be about 29 to 31 different illustrations. Most are single paged, but there are a couple spreads, that number includes the cover.
The story is about a young girl that becomes "grouchy", but as she becomes more grouchy, she begins to look more unlike herself, she looks more like a grouchy-pants! So she gets more grouchy and grouchy until the end where she looks nothing like herself and is the full grouchy-pants.
The look of grouchy-pants is up to interpretation. We'd like to see your vision! It shouldn't terrify children, but at the same time, it needs to look "grouchy".
Please, submit your "CHILDREN'S ILLUSTRATIONS" portfolio, as well as a quick sketch of the young girl, and your interpretation of "Miss Grouchy-Pants" with your bid!
