Graphic Designer for campground site maps (Occasional small contract projects)

Graphic designer needed to create campground site maps for our customers to use in our reservation software. The initial job you'll be bidding on is in the "map job 1 [login to view URL]" file attached. There are also some before/after examples to get an idea of what we're looking for (also see below). Overall we're looking for a freelance designer who can be called on occasionally to complete a small job within 1 to 2 weeks. Jobs will only be occasionally available, depending on our customer's needs. Expect 3-5 jobs per year, each one of which will be 1 or more map "pages". You will be contacted when a possible job is available, provided with the necessary details (usually with a starting map that needs to be re-drawn cleanly), and will need to provide a quote for the work before the customer can give us the go-ahead. Typical expected pricing would be in the range of $100 to $400 per map page -- but the lower your quote, potentially the more jobs we will be able to provide you (because customers would be more willing to do it). You would be expected to provide an initial draft, take feedback for changes and go through 2 or 3 additional drafts before final acceptance. Payment would be upon final acceptance (could pay 1/2 on first draft delivery for larger projects). All correspondence would be via E-mail. You should be designing with software that allows an easily scalable result, so both an 8-bit-color screen-resolution (with smoothed edges and flat-color areas insite the "sites") and a full-page-printable final result can be created.
