Background Designs For A Mobile Puzzle Game

The Game we are making is a Zodiac Sign Puzzle game, so similar to something like Candy Crush that I'm sure you are familiar with. What you will be doing is making the background screens for them, only the backgrounds so don't worry about any of the buttons at all because someone else on the team will be doing them for the whole game so that they match the same style. The Game levels are played on different planets. So something like Angry Birds where there are different areas of the game and levels with a change of themes and color schemes. The levels of the game will be based on two planets, the Sun and The Moon. So you will create Level Select Screens that will suit the themes for each of these planets. So the Game Will flow like this World Select Screen>Level Select Screen>Gameplay Screen. Does that make sense? Requirements for the Level Select Screen on The Sun: 1 - The Level Select Screen needs to be bird's eye view, so meaning viewed from the top similar to the references I will show you. 1 - It needs to have themes and styles that appear like the sun, so you should incorporate rivers of lava and red rocks on the path for the levels, you can also put trees on either side of the path, but these will be in contrasting colors. 2 - So the color scheme for the sun will, of course, be Orange, Grey and Purple, the Orange for the lava and everything else in the background, Grey for the rocks, and the purple for the leaves on the side of the path. 3 - Go for a very cartoony style.
