Please note that my website is ADULT RELATED before you quote. [login to view URL] The thing I would like to do to my website, is make it so that nobody can post on our message board without giving their CORRECT name and address details on registration, people have been using “Mickey Mouse” addresses and then abusing the message board, meaning I have to monitor it much more than I want to. With the ITC “Personals Ads” page, they have to use a credit card to buy tokens BEFORE being able to place an ad, therefore having to give their correct address, so I thought if I could do something similar for the message board it might help solve the problem. Perhaps doing a membership fee, or just making it so they have to buy something from the shop BEFORE being allowed to post on the message board (therefore having to pay by credit card). Also, if possible, I would like them to have to include their “username”, as sometimes they use a different name when posting, and so if they do abuse the board, it’s hard for me to work out who they are, before deleting them. There may even be a simpler ways which I have not thought of? Our website is VERY old and although everything works fine, it may need someone who knows all the workings of an old site.
